Source: DPD District 2 Command
District 2 Command has flagged an uptick in thefts from garages on the south end of the City Park West neighborhood, targeting both open garages and locked side person entry doors. Items being taken include bikes, tools, and other valuables.
Please remind neighbors to:
- Close garage doors when not in use
- Lock side person entry doors to garages
- Register bikes at 529 Garage / DPD
- Take inventory of tools with photos and serial numbers — this aids recovery if items are stolen

About This Group
City Park West Neighborhood Watch is a community safety initiative connecting residents of the City Park West neighborhood with the Denver Police Department District 2 and local community organizers.
We track safety concerns, share information about local incidents, and coordinate with DPD to keep our block informed and engaged.
What We Do
- Monitor neighborhood email threads and Nextdoor for safety-relevant activity
- Attend and host community meetings with DPD District 2
- Coordinate with The Gathering Place and other neighborhood organizations
- Maintain a monthly summary shared with DPD liaison Christie M.
